Crisis Care Center

  • Crisis Services Specialist (Part-time)

    Seeking energetic, team oriented individuals to work with staff and clients entering and exiting the Crisis Care Center. This position is PRN (as needed) and involves a Saturday overnight shift. Help create and maintain an environment that is client driven, recovery oriented and outcome informed. Work directly with individuals to gather information for screening and referral to appropriate level of care. Perform medical duties including taking and recording vital signs, and PBT tests. Work directly with individuals to address crisis situations. Address immediate needs of nutrition and comfort. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Services with experience working in the fields of mental health and/or addictions. Will also consider those with Emergency Medical Technician certification.     Our Spearfish office is seeking to hire an outpatient counselor who would provide comprehensive outpatient behavioral healthcare services to people of all ages and with diverse issues. We do our best to match our clients with the strengths of our clinicians as well as with our clinicians’ preferred ages/issues. The applicant for this position must have an extensive knowledge of mental illness and a thorough understanding of diagnosis. A Master's degree in a human services field is required. Applicants must be licensed or licensable in South Dakota to practice mental health counseling. Fully licensed clinicians (CSW-PIP, LPC-MH, or LMFT) are preferred.
